Welcome to the Equipping Resource Hub for the Children's Ministries Leadership Certification Course - Semester One!
The Children's Ministries Leadership Certification Course (CMLCC) is designed for those involved in ministry to the next generation who have had little or no formal training in the area of children's ministries. Seasoned practitioners representing a variety of churches and ministries across Canada have written the course especially for you, sharing a wealth of experience, information, biblical truths and helpful tips that will expand your thinking and sharpen your skills.
Empowerment and Equipping
You're in the driver's seat for how you'll use this course. Whether you've decided to do a self-study or are connecting with others in a Mentorship Cohort to work toward a certificate of completion, we want to equip you. Our goal is to provide the tools, training, and knowledge you need to perform your role and serve with excellence.
You have two awesome options to complete this course:
A. Self-Paced
Download the entire CMLC course and work through it at your own pace. You're in the driver's seat, so feel free to spend extra time on the topics that matter most to you. While this path doesn't come with a certificate, the knowledge and spiritual insights you gain will be your ultimate reward, helping you live out your calling with purpose and passion.
B. Mentorship Cohort
Want a Certificate of Completion and a built-in support system? Join a district led Mentorship Cohort! You'll be connected with a PAOC District CFM Specialist in your province or territory, who will guide you and a small group of other leaders through the course. You'll discuss activities, share insights, and build relationships that will last long after the cohort is over. Mentors will be your biggest cheerleaders, helping you achieve your certificate of completion!

Frequently Asked Questions
Mentoring Track Sponsor

Mission Canada is the PAOC's national mission agency that reaches Canada with the gospel in unique ways. There are many contexts where there is a gap; where Jesus is inadequately represented. The five gaps we focus on are:
- Canada’s next generation—children, youth and post-secondary campus students
- The people of Quebec and Francophones in other provinces
- Cultural Language Groups (Newcomers to Canada)
- Indigenous Peoples of Canada—First Nations, Métis and Inuit
- Those who live in Canada’s growing urban centres
Mission Canada is committed to identify and equip those who will pursue their calling to fill these voids.
